Biking
Bicycles are a great fossil fuel free way to get to PSU everyday. They provide a good opportunity for exercise and save money on parking or public transportation. There are many great biking resources for biking at PSU and around Portland.

Our focus is to teach basic bicycle repair and maintenance techniques that will help keep you and your bicycle on the road. PSU now offers Flex Pass, a student-discounted All Zone TriMet Transit Pass (valid on all TriMet buses, MAX, and Portland Streetcar) for the current term. The Flex Pass is available to all students registered for at least 3 credit hours during the current term. The per-term cost for the Flex Pass is approximately 35% off TriMet's retail price! Purchase online or at Transportation & Parking Services in the Neuberger Hall lobby.

Tri-Met provides transit services in the Portland metro area. Their web site has details on routes, schedules, and fares. There are also links to information on bicycling, carpooling, and car sharing. You can even do online trip planning.

Carpooling
Sharing rides to work reduces road congestion, saves fuel, and reduces pollution, and as an added incentive, parking permits on campus are offered at a reduced rate to carpoolers.
