Greetings EcoWiki Readers,
We would like to invite everyone to come join the Sustainability Leadership Center and the Food Action Collective for Setting the Table: A Food Forum on Equity, Sustainability, and the State of Food at PSU.
Come engage in the discussion of food justice with a featured group of panelists.
When: Thursday, May 31st from 4 - 7:30 pm
Where: SMSU 296 (Second Floor) at PSU
The VBC is also still happening. Check it out HERE.
***Correction from last week***
PSU faculty member Pedro Ferbel-Azacarte shared some of his institutional knowledge with us in regards to VBC at PSU. We had referred to this as the first year of VBC. However....
- In 2003, PSU capstone students sponsored an evening event at Food for Thought Cafe.
- In 2004, PSUrth (a student group) created the dialogue dome and earth oven, along with permaculture plantings around Smith Center.
- In 2006, FRINQ and capstone students created the psu book bench at Millar Library. The bench was removed last year.
Wrapping up:
Next week will be the last EcoWiki Bulletin for the 2012 spring term. It has been wonderful sharing sustainability, social equity, local opportunities, and PSU spirit with all of you readers. Starting in July the Bulletin will come out on the first Wednesday of every month. Don't worry! The Bulletin will be back to its weekly rotation starting next October.
With pleasure,
Sophia and the EcoWiki community
