Meatless Mondays and Creative Expression of Conservation
We've been busy with our Energy Challenge 2011 events. We've got just two more coming up. The first one is tonight: Meatless Monday. We've partnered with Victor's Dining hall to serve a meatless meal. Look for the Eco Reps and RAs to be giving out smoothies and getting the word out about the connection between energy consumption (and carbon) and meat this evening in the Ondine Lobby.
Our final Energy Challenge 2011 event will be Saturday, April 30th 12 pm - 3 pm also in the Ondine Lobby. We'll be displaying the submissions to our Creative Expressions of Conservation and celebrating the success of the the challenge. We'll have food and drinks and I'll be giving away two $50 gift cards to selected submissions (it's not too late to send something in - just email a digital version of your work with a sentence or two about how it represents conservation to you to energy@pdx.edu and bring the original to set-up at 11:30 AM Saturday)
Hope to see you there...
