After considerable success with the launch of The Spectrums Spring 2009 Review Issue, we are now making extensive progress in launching our Fall 2009 Review (due to release September 28th, 2009. We are currently on track for doubling our organizations capacity, and securing additional funding that will help us expand our paper to two thousand copies across campus and to the greater Portland-Metro Community.
For those who wish to contribute, we ask that submissions focus on topics relating to sex & gender equality, oppression, discrimination or advocacy within the community through personal narratives (submissions should be no more than 4-5 pages, 12-pt. font, double-spaced). We also will gladly accept poems as well.
For those who wish to submit photography, artwork or other media, we ask that it be a high resolution image file (e.g., 300 dpi).
All submissions should be made before July 31st, 2009 by 5pm.
You can forward off your submission to Nathan Keep at (

Sometime in the past, you had expressed an interest in wanting to either contribute to the Fall 2009 Issue, or to help us within the organization as a whole. I am hopeful that you may still be interested in doing either of these things - as this year is the most pivotal moment in our movement to become incorporated under the student publications board (which means stability for this new paper at Portland State University).
For more information, please visit us online at:

I hope that you are still interested in either aspect, and hope to hear from you within the near future.
Sincerely,
Nathan Keep
