ASPSU - Student Government |
|
The Associated Students of PSU are your representatives to school administration, Oregon and the federal government.
ASPSU works to make better connections with the business community in Portland to provide internships and skill-building opportunities for students. They also work with the administration on campus projects that work toward sustainability. "PSU is known for its environmental passion and biking community. Many of their successes have come from, or are because of, the students. There is an atmosphere of innovation and creativity in regard to sustainability on campus. Students need for their ideas to be connected with real world opportunity and their passions to be fully supported by the university." (http://aspsu.pdx.edu/platform.html) Sustainability-related campaigns for 2008-2009 school year: - Subsidize and lower the cost for the FlexPass
