Green Teams are comprised of faculty and staff members on campus who collaborate to encourage sustainable practices in their departments. The majority of the projects they work on are made at the department, office or individual level.
The time commitment per individual is generally 1-2 hours per month. Teams meet once each month to identify opportunities for improving internal operations and enhance resource-saving motivation for the department. Areas of interest may include, energy conservation, waste prevention, commuting and finding alternatives to toxic products.
