Student scholarships are available from The Oregon Chapter of the Wildlife Society.
The Oregon Chapter of The Wildlife Society membership includes over 200 wildlife professionals in Oregon. Part of our mission is to promote a diverse membership and to promote professional development of natural resource professionals. We encourage participation and seek to provide opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students in wildlife or natural resource programs.
The Oregon Chapter of The Wildlife Society gives out four $500 scholarships annually. These scholarships are available to students pursuing a college degree within the state of Oregon in a field that is relevant to wildlife science. Often one or more of these scholarships go un-awarded due to a lack of applicants. Information can be found on our web site: http://joomla.wildlife.org/oregon/
