networking job description for Lunacy Stageworks educational outreach program
Lunatic Fringe.

Engage At-Risk
Youth with Theatre!  Make a difference in
a teens life and help them stay in school.

The Lunatic Fringe is the education branch of Lunacy
Stageworks Theatre Ensemblewww.lunacystageworks.org and
we are expanding our education department to include workshops for at-risk
teens. Lunacy offers young people an open forum where their stories can be
heard and where they can take ownership for the creation and outcome of their
unique experiences.

Start Date:  Dec. 7, 2012

End Date:    January 26, 2013

 

What: Advertising/Marketing Committee
volunteer to prepare for the middle school teen group performances at the 2013
Fertile Ground Festival on January 25 & 26, 2013.

Hours: Weekly, 10-15 hrs.  Flexible hours/days to meet your schedule.
We’ll take one hour or whatever you can spare in the next few weeks.

Pay: Unpaid, volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to be part
of our Marketing Committee.  Some of the
tasks are:

  • Posting timely content to advertise for special events,
    "Stories: from the trenches of middle school"/reception and
    fundraiser. 
  • Creating content that will attract and engage target
    audience based on their own ideas around central theme of middle school,
    special offers, contests, rewards and any other strategies.  
  • Online advertising will be done through the Lunacy
    Newsletter, on the Lunacy FaceBook page, Lunatic Fringe FaceBook page, FaceBook
    invite to event, Fertile Ground Blog, twitter account, and any other outlets
    for online publicity found that will bring theatergoers to the Stories event
    and effectively build Lunacy's/Lunatic Fringe's audience base and raise money.
  • Send invites to shows and fundraisers through email to
    donors, grant people, industry folks and any others on list given by Executive
    Director.
