Special plastics recycled |

PSU Recycles! crew members visited Far West Fibers with a special load of hard plastics to be recycled. These types of plastics, such as CD cases, floppy discs, VHS tape casings, pipette cases, and other miscellaneous plastics cannot be recycled through the normal commingled recycling stream. Over 400 pounds of these types of plastics were collected from across campus by the recycling crew and diverted from the landfill.
